Call for proposals: Open Access Days 2024

The motto of the conference is: "DEAL, Diamond and beyond - Open Access between sovereignty and dependence". It will take place from 10 to 12 September 2024 in Cologne.

The OAT24 programme committee cordially invites you to submit contributions that highlight the tension between sovereignty and dependence in the open access transformation. Of interest are proposals that address how Open Access is implemented internationally, but also what is being done locally at the institutions to work pragmatically with the given framework conditions. How can the goal of pursuing diverse publication approaches be achieved, how can researchers be optimally supported, how can various open access models be financed and how can institutions strengthen, expand and sustainably anchor their own open infrastructure and publication services?

You can submit presentations, posters or workshops as well as participation in the tool marketplace or offers for moderation. The deadline for presentations and workshops is 24 March, for posters, the tool marketplace and moderations 19 June 2024.
