ZB MED – Information Centre for Life Sciences digitises content from the fields of medicine, health, and nutritional, environmental and agricultural science. Our digital collection includes digitised copies of our own holdings as well as content from other institutions. The majority of this content has no copyright restrictions. Items are arranged by collections, and users can enter keywords to search all or just part of the collection. The items are aditionally arranged by ZB MED subjects. ZB MED's digital collections are regularly updated and expanded and are available online for free.

Digitisation on Demand
ZB MED will digitise from its own holdings and, if applicable, from other holdingss at your request. If this is possible under copyright law, the titles are placed online in our Digital Collections and thus made accessible worldwide and free of charge.
Depending on the scope, purpose and type of digitisation, this ZB MED service is either free of charge or against payment. It is also possible - in consultation with us - to donate monetary contributions. You will then receive a donation receipt from us.

Digitised content is stored on a server operated by the North Rhine-Westphalian Library Service Center (hbz).
As well as digitising items from its own holdings, ZB MED also collaborates with other institutions to digitise works from their holdings.
