ZB MED publishes new Digital Collection Infectious Diseases: historical literature freely available online
Around 800 works illustrate the development of research into and the fight against infectious diseases. One focus is on literature on the topics of cholera, tuberculosis and typhus, which were very acute and much dealt with, especially in the 19th century, as well as venereal diseases.
The digital collections of ZB MED are constantly being added to and offer worldwide free access to well over 8,000 titles. Collections from all areas of the life sciences are available, for example the collections on vaccinations, balneology, special plant cultivation, milk and dairy or the history of medicine. Using various search options, the titles recorded can be indexed and processed - even individually.
