CarpentryConnect Heidelberg 2024

Updates from the organising committee: Keynote speakers, inclusion tickets and preliminary programme

The organising committee has published updates on the BioNT Community Event & CarpentryConnect Heidelberg 2024:

Keynote Speaker:

  • Radhika S Khetani (Sweden): Director of Data Science Learning at AstraZeneca
  • Yanina Bellini Saibene (Argentina): Community Manager at rOpenSci, Co-founder of MetaDocencia, Co-founder and Chair of LatinR, R-Ladies Leadership Team
  • Malvika Sharan (United Kingdom): Senior Researcher at the Alan Turing Institute, co-founder and co-director of OLS (formerly Open Life Science)

The event is committed to being accessible to all. Inclusion tickets are available for this purpose. They are intended for those who are unable to attend the event for financial or other reasons and applications are now open.

Once the Call for Proposals has closed, the programme committee will present a varied and interesting preliminary programme with lightnigh talks, posters, workshops, discussion rounds and mini-hackathons.
