Databases DBIS with a new design

Following a relaunch, a new user interface for the DBIS database information system was released in mid-October.

The DBIS databases information system has a new design since 15 October 2024! With the latest version, the layout and user interface have been completely revised and now enable modern and intuitive use. In addition, DBIS is now available not only in German, but also in English. 

DBIS lists all important information on databases, enables a quick and well-founded selection and allows individual views to be flexibly customised. More than 370 participating institutions are working together in co-operation, including ZB MED. DBIS lists both databases licensed by ZB MED and those freely available on the Internet (subject bibliographies, factual databases, full-text databases, etc.).

The relaunch of DBIS was the result of a DFG project and was carried out by the University Library of Regensburg in broad co-operation with the participating institutions.
