Networking meeting on 6 November 2025 in Cologne

For many, the Wikimedia platforms are part of everyday working life in the library: Writing articles for Wikipedia or adding references, using Wikidata to enrich the bibliographic metadata of a database. There are many examples of the fruitful use of Wikimedia platforms in information organisations.

The ZB MED team invites you to a first nationwide meeting of Wikimedians in libraries in Cologne to exchange ideas. We want to take time to network and discuss the possibilities and problems of using Wikimedia platforms and applications in a work context.
