Profile
Katharina Markus studied Biology in Bonn and finished her PhD 2018 in the field of molecular biology at the University of Bonn. Afterwards, she went to the south of Germany for a two-year qualification as a librarian, called Bibliotheksreferendariat. One year was spent with practical library-work at the University Library of Stuttgart, one year with theoretical training at the Bavarian Library Academy. During this time she became interested in research data management and metadata. Since 2020 she is responsible for Digital Preservation at ZB MED.
