The ZB MED site is located in the Poppelsdorf district of Bonn, surrounded by various buildings that make up Bonn University.
The Bonn site of ZB MED specialises in nutritional, environmental and agricultural sciences and shares premises with a Departmental Library of Bonn University Library (ULB Bonn). That means that our library is also subject to the ULB regulations on use. These are available for inspection on request.
From Bonn main train station (Hauptbahnhof)
- Take line 604, 605, 606 or 607 as far as the Kaufmannstrasse stop, which is situated in front of the “Landwirtschaftskammer Rheinland” in the street “Endenicher Allee”.
- Or take line 601, 602 or 603 to the am Botanischen Garten stop next to Poppelsdorf Palace (“Poppelsdorfer Schloss”) .
- You can also reach us on foot by taking the Quantiusstraße exit from the main station, turning left, and then turning right onto "Poppelsdorfer Allee" and continuing straight on until you reach Poppelsdorf Palace (“Poppelsdorfer Schloss”) On the right-hand side of the palace, continue onto "Meckenheimer Allee" and then immediately turn right into "Friedrich-Hirzebruch-Allee".
