On behalf of the Organizing Committee we have the great pleasure to hereby announce the 16th Dresden Symposium on Autoantibodies taking place in September 2023. The aim of the Symposium is to bring together clinicians and scientists specialising in "autoimmunology" to exchange academic information and to present and discuss the results of basic and applied research on autoantigens, autoantibodies and autoimmunity. The main topic of the upcoming symposium deals with Achievements and Challenges in Diagnostics and Therapy of Autoimmune DiseasesSpecial topics: ★ Memorial Session ★ Autoantibodies in systemic and organ specific autoimmune diseases (from early diagnosics to novel therapies) ★ Autoantibodies as stratification tools for prediction and treatment decisions ★ Update on anti-DFS70 antibodies ★ COVID, post-COVID and autoimmunity ★ Novel autoantibodies of diagnostic and predictive relevance ★ Autoimmune diagnostics: Methodical aspects and diagnostic strategies, Harmonization, Standardization
