Frühförderung ist ein niedrigschwelliges Förderangebot für Kinder mit (drohender) Behinderung, aber auch vorbeugende Unterstützung für Kinder mit Entwicklungsbeeinträchtigungen und ihre Familien.

Sie richtet sich als gesetzlich angebotene spezielle Hilfeform an Kinder im Vorschulalter, also ab Babyalter bis zur Einschulung, und bezieht die Familien in die individuelle Frühförderung des jeweiligen Kindes ein. „Mit den Eltern für das Kind…“ beinhaltet das familienorientierte Arbeiten in der Frühförderung.
