58th Annual Conference of the Israel Heart Society in association with The Israel Society of Cardiothoracic Surgery
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
The 58th Annual Congress of the Israel Heart Society in association with the Israel Society of Cardiothoracic Surgery will take place at the Convention Center, David Inter-Continental Hotel, Tel Aviv, Israel on May 4-5, 2011.
We are planning a very special meeting with distinguished international guest speakers:
• William T. Abraham, MD, FACC
Ohio State University Medical Center, USA
• Christian W. Hamm, MD, FESC
Kerckhoff Heart Center, Bad Nauheim, Germany
• Barry J. Maron, MD, FACC
Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation, USA
• Harvey White, FACC, FESC, FAHA
Auckland City Hospital, New Zealand
The congress will include joint sessions of the Israel Heart Society with the European Society of Cardiology and the American College of Cardiology. We will also continue the tradition of a joint session with AFICARDIO,the French-Israeli Association of Cardiology.
These three major sessions, as well as the Keynote Neufeld Memorial lecture at the opening ceremony, will be conducted in English.
A detailed program will include both invited and local speakers and will be announced soon.
The free communications section will include a large number of oral, express and poster presentations of abstracts based on original studies, which will be delivered mostly in Hebrew. However, abstracts from English speaking presenters may be presented in English.
Posters sessions will be presented in English.
A large exhibition of device and pharmaceutical industry is taking place within the convention site.
