Dear Colleagues and Friends,
it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 59th Annual Meeting of the German, Austrian and Swiss Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis Research (GTH). The meeting will be held from February 24 to 27, 2015 at the CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf. The 2015 topic will be “Platelet Pathology and Vascular Medicine” in the light of our congress motto “The Ambivalence of Progress – Do We Need a Less-Is-More Strategy?”
A top rank National and International Advisory Board is preparing an enticing scientific program showcasing the most recent and thrilling advances in basic research and translational clinical science. A state-of-the-art update in all major hemostatic topics will complement our broad scientific program. We are proud of having succeeded in recruiting a world class faculty featuring some of the very best scientific protagonists in their field. Along with a series of excellent Keynote Lectures and State-of-the-Art Symposia, we are introducing a new category of clinical How-Do-I-Treat Symposia and Clinical Pro and Contra Sessions discussing some of the latest clinical controversies illustrated by interesting clinical cases. Furthermore, we will offer a variety of Educationals both for medical colleagues and technical assistants. To foster young academic excellence, we will dedicate a Keynote Session to showcase the best science presented by young investigators and award these.
In addition to our scientific program, we will offer you a wonderful social program accompanying the congress that will make your stay in Düsseldorf memorable.
