On behalf of the European Society of Thoracic Imaging and the Fleischner Society, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to Paris, France from May 09-11, 2018, to the joint meeting of our two societies.

The conference will take place at Maison de la Chimie (the House of Chemistry), a beautiful building from the XVIII century dedicated to chemistry but also an international congress center in the very heart of Paris. It is located within walking distance of the National Assembly and Les Invalides, and within easy reach of Charles de Gaulle Airport.

The scientific programme will focus on all aspects of Thoracic Imaging of Respiratory Disease, with lectures on state-of-the-art CT, MRI, interventional radiology together with multidisciplinary scientific presentations on the most recent advances in our specialty. Among evolving topics, lung fibrosis, lung cancer screening, response evaluation criteria and the role of artificial intelligence in thoracic imaging will be covered in detail.

Workshops on chest X-ray reading, lung nodule management and high resolution CT will take place the day before the main meeting.
