Scope of conference/participants


Participants will again be clinical oncologists from surgical, medical and radio-oncology background as well as


gynaecologists, pathologists, epidemiologists, breast care nurses, basic scientists, interested in breast cancer


development, diagnostics and early curative treatment.


Program/exhibition


There will mainly be invited lectures by top international experts and some selected proffered papers, as well


as lively discussions after each session. Extensive poster exhibition, up-to-date company-sponsored satellite


symposia and a large commercial exhibition.


Consensus panel 2011


Following a long standing tradition, the 2011 St.Gallen Breast Cancer Conference will end with an update of the


internationally unique interdisciplinary expert consensus panel on the optimal primary treatment of early breast


cancer – the longest-lasting and probably most important breast cancer consensus meeting world-wide.
