It is our great pleasure to invite you and the members of your institution to the 33rd Ernst Klenk Symposium 2017 on “Tissue regeneration, wound healing and fibrosis: Translating basic concepts into regenerative therapy”, taking place from Oct. 15 - 17, 2017 in the Lecture Hall of the Medical Faculty.
We are honored to announce that Professor Sabine Werner (Institute for Molecular Health Sciences, ETH, Zurich) was substantially involved in the scientific coordination of the program and will also present the Ernst Klenk Lecture on Oct. 16, 2017 at 6 p.m.
The meeting is shaping up to one of the most exciting meetings in the field of tissue repair and regeneration in 2017. As the meeting stands so far it brings together an outstanding and diverse group of scientists at the forefront of repair and regeneration research in following four sessions:
Session I:
Exploring molecular concepts of cell renewal and stem cell function in tissue maintenance and repair
Session II:
Mechanisms of cellular communication in tissue regeneration, repair and fibrosis
Session III:
New strategies of targeting the immune response in tissue remodeling
Session IV:
Challenges and perspectives for translating scientific discoveries in regenerative medicine
Participation in the Klenk Symposium 2017 is free of charge - free registration is required:

We are expecting a highly interactive meeting sparked by the panel of internationally renowned speakers, who will discuss their latest research developments with an audience of scientists, physicians and in particular junior researchers and students.
We are looking forward to welcoming you!
Yours sincerely,
Prof. Dr. Sabine Eming - PD Dr. Catherin Niemann - Prof. Dr. Dr. Thomas Krieg
