Kurzinfo

The European Conference on Schizophrenia Research is a biennial thematic conference that has been established as a forum for scientific exchange on current issues and controversies in schizophrenia research and clinical care. The ECSR 2021 will be held 110 years after the introduction of schizophrenia as a diagnostic class. Thus, it seems appropriate to look back and forward to evaluate the facts and unsolved questions concerning this complex disorder.

From the beginning on the organiser of this congress’ series – the European Scientific Association on Schizophrenia and other Psychoses (ESAS) - aims at enhancing the visibility of the European schizophrenia research. Accordingly, the scientific programme will be designed to update knowledge, discuss findings with experts in the field, and figure out emerging topics for further research. The ECSR shall also serve as a forum for young scientist to present own data, and socialize with senior colleagues. The interactive scene of the ECSR also provides the opportunity to initiate consortia for research projects. Accordingly, the active contribution of (basic, clinical, health services) researchers, clinicians and therapists to the scientific programme is most welcome. Colleagues are cordially invited to submit their proposals. For respective deadlines and further information, please visit www.schizophrenianet.eu
