EACR Conference on Making it Personal: Cancer Precision Medicine
Roger Doxat-Pratt: roger.doxat-pratt@nottingham.ac.uk
The conference will update you on advances in targeted and immunological therapies. It will cover issues of diagnosis and early detection and the emergence, and role of, drug-tolerant tumour fractions. There will also be a focus on rational design of combinatorial therapies and on how advances emerging from the laboratory are clinically implemented. Andrea Califano (Columbia University) and David Solit (MSKCC) will give keynote lectures.
This conference is aimed at basic, translational and clinical faculty, postdocs and PhD students/trainees who are interested in currently pressing cancer-relevant questions and want to hear about the latest developments in therapies targeting cancer and immune cells. In addition, industry scientists interested in targets for novel therapies are encouraged to sign up. It is an excellent format for informal networking.
