ESOR ASKLEPIOS Course on Challenges in Head and Neck Imaging
This course is aimed at last year residents, general radiologists as well as neuroradiologists and intends to offer practical insights into head and neck challenging problems encountered in every-day practice. Hence, it focuses on clinical queries, like "the neck mass in a paediatric or adult patient" or the "long standing unilateral nasal obstruction", as it happens in real-life. These and other challenging questions will be addressed by clear and practical problem-solving approaches. In particular, special consideration will be given to two strategies: how to handle a specific challenge via key anatomy findings and imaging features, and how to build up a report with a checklist suggested by experts. During these one and a half days a unique group of faculty members, well known for their experience in head and neck imaging will offer top quality lectures and case-based interactive panel discussions in small groups.
