Cancer initiation and progression involves complex processes that cannot be modelled completely using conventional 2D cultures of tumour cells. Integrated multidisciplinary efforts have led to the development of a wide range of novel approaches involving 3D culture, organoids, bioengineered systems, and in vivo models that more accurately reflect the biochemical, spatial and mechanical properties of tumours in their tissue environment.
Following four highly successful in-person editions, this virtual conference will focus on the next generation of cancer models and emerging topics in the areas of cell architecture, mechanobiology, the immune microenvironment, intravital imaging and high-content analysis for cancer therapeutics. The conference format is designed to encourage networking optimized for our virtual platform.
