The workshop will be held at the University of Ulm for up to 20 doctoral students and will last eight hours. The eight hours are divided into two blocks of four hours each, spread over two days on May 14th and May 15th, 2025.
The first block will deal with the basics of research data management by covering fundamental concepts. The second block will be based on the needs and interests of the participants. Participants can choose from the following in-depth thematic modules:
- Data management plans
- Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs)
- Good enough software practices
- Data organisation
- Data access and publication (including persistent identifiers and licensing)
- Handling of personal data
